Our Program

Robbie’s Place, an assisted living facility situated on the beautiful New Horizons Assisted Living campus in Marlborough, has created a model of care which helps to address the needs of the people suffering from psychiatric disorders.

Robbie’s Place combines the amenities of assisted living with professional care aimed at addressing the needs of this unique population. The residents live in private studio apartments with their own bathroom.  All meals are provided in our relaxed restaurant style dining room.  Activities take place in our beautiful activity room and other common areas throughout our community. However, it is our highly qualified staff working with our residents, that help them reach their maximum level of wellness.

A Robbie’s Place Care Plan includes the following:

• Medication management
• Unique “Lifeline” Emergency System for each resident
• 24/7 Certified Home Health Aides
• Daily varied activity schedule
• Personal Care assistance with bathing, toileting, etc.
• Nursing oversight
• 24 Hour “on call” nurse

The team creates a plan of care for each individual and delivers this care all in the comfort of Robbie’s Place. The care plans are frequently reviewed and ongoing assessments and changes are made to the plan according to the progress of the individual.

Medication administration is monitored to ensure compliance.

Meaningful activities and pleasant, homey surroundings create an environment which provides on-going supportive care conducive to healing. Robbie’s Place becomes a therapeutic community with all these elements working in concert.
